Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of clinical diagnosis and chiropractic treatment for commonly occurring neuro-musculoskeletal conditions including subluxation complex; 
  • Self-motivated, productive, and have excellent people skills.
  • Provides basic education and information to patients, making sure patients' questions are addressed and answered.
  • Participates in diagnostic process by reviewing patients' health and medical histories; questioning, observing, and examining patients; interpreting x-rays, and advising patients about recommended courses of treatment 
  • Performs manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations of the body as needed to improve patient's musculoskeletal system health.
  • Interviews patient, obtains patient history, updates all information and documents in EHR according to standards. 
  • Consults with staff medical providers regarding medical management of patients and common musculoskeletal problems encountered in the clinic. 
  • Communicates on the planning and direction of the primary care team as it relates to MSK system care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree

• Ability to travel between community health centers

• California Chiropractic License

• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

• Proficiency in Spanish preferred, not required

 

The base pay range for this exempt position starts at $92,000 a year.  Our competitive salaries are dependent on knowledge, skills and experience.  The base pay does not include other forms of compensation and/or incentives.
